Do It Yourself

Legal design is best learned by doing. Our DIY training programme is all about sharpening your legal design skills. We know how to get you out of your comfort zone and bring your legal design skills to a new level. Our approach is structured, hands-on and action based. Besides learning new things and having fun, you will walk away with your own stunning legal designs.

What will you learn?

• How to communicate legal information more effectively.
• How to create user-centric legal documents.
• How to apply various legal design techniques to redesign your legal documents in Word.
• How to (re)design visually appealing legal documents that reinforce your brand.

Practical information

This workshop consists of 4 modules of 2 hours each.

“Do It Yourself” means you are going to do most of the work yourself — but we will provide you with the best guidance possible during your learning journey. That’s why our DIY workshops take place in person.

We can work on your own legal documents or with our training materials. To get the most out of this workshop we work on different types of documents. If you have a special interest in learning how to redesign contracts our “Contract design” workshop is a better option.

This workshop is for you if you are already familiar with the basics of legal design. Or, to put it another way, this is a follow-up to our Get Inspired session.
